The group aims to promote awareness of the need for justice for the world's poor. We promote the need for Trade Justice, Debt cancellation, better and greater aid for developing countries and the effects of climate change on the world. The group is a member of the Jubilee Debt campaign and Make Poverty History North East.

We raise awareness through postal campaigns, writing letters, lobbying MPs and members of the Government and also by joining in campaigns which mirror the group's interests.

We welcome members of all ages, sex, race and religion (or none) to our meetings at 8pm on the 2nd Monday of each month at St. George's United Reformed Church, Park Road, Hartlepool. This all sounds very serious, but we also enjoy ourselves as well!

We can provide speakers and worship leaders for your own services if required.
