Sunday, 17th October
 Hartlepool Churches Together united service in St Mary's RC Church, Durham Street, at 6.30pm
 led by a team from HGPJ, with an address by Dr David Golding of MPHNE as part of the 4th Annual Autumn roadshows.
 2010 is a special year as it is 10 years after the Millennium Declaration was signed by all the world's leaders and dfive years before the date (2015) as set for the achievement of the Millenniium Development Goals.

Sat. 18th September
 in St Thomas' Church, Haymarket, Newcastle from 4.30 pm "Heed the Call" - MPHNE Celebration of the Great North Run and the UN Millennium Campaign.
 
Sat. 9th October
Fairtrade Foundation Supporters Conference in London. * Martin Green,. Chairman of Hartlepool Fairtrade Town Steering Group is attending and will be presented with the national first prize for the Fairtrade tea activity awarded for the Boston Tea Party event.
 
Wed. 20th October
Christian Aid Supporter Day:  Methodist Central Hall, Westminster, 11 - 2.30 pm, with main speaker Revd Jesse Jackson, followed by Climate Change Lobby of MP's at Westminster
 
Past Events

Fairtrade Fortnight events organised by Hartlepool Fairtrade Town Steering Group and supported by HGPJ: a Ceilidh and the Boston Tea Party at which rip-em-off teabags were thrown into Hartlepool Docks and swapped for Fairtrade teabags. This event has won an first prize award from the Fairtrade  Foundation*
 
 A Hustings was held prior to the General Election
 
 A Masquerade Ball, organised by one of our members, was held in aid of Nightstop and was supported by HGPJ.
